Signed and inscribed. From a folio of works by the artist dating between the 1970's to 1990's. The Preseli Mountains, or Preseli Hills, which ever you prefer, rise out of the landscape to 536m in the northern half of Pembrokeshire. The range stretches from the proximity of Newport in the west to Crymych in the east, some 13 miles in extent.
Born in Aldershot, Hampshire, Peter Hutton joined the Admiralty aged 17 and worked for them all of his career, rising to become a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, retiring in 1983. During his retirement he attended the Cumbria College of Art and Design.
