Signed and inscribed. From a folio of works by the artist dating between the 1970's to 1990's. Seatoller is a settlement in Borrowdale in the English Lake District. Historically part of Cumberland, it lies on the B5289 road at the east foot of the Honister Pass, and to the south of Derwent Water.
Born in Aldershot, Hampshire, Peter Hutton joined the Admiralty aged 17 and worked for them all of his career, rising to become a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, retiring in 1983. During his retirement he attended the Cumbria College of Art and Design.
