Signed and inscribed. From a folio of works by the artist dating between the 1970's to 1990's. Grange, often called Grange in Borrowdale, is a village in Borrowdale in the English Lake District. It lies just off the B5289 road to the south of Derwent Water and 4 miles south of Keswick, in the county of Cumbria, historically part of Cumberland.
Born in Aldershot, Hampshire, Peter Hutton joined the Admiralty aged 17 and worked for them all of his career, rising to become a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, retiring in 1983. During his retirement he attended the Cumbria College of Art and Design.
