Size 35 x 40 cm

Valko Gaydarov was the president of the Bulgarian Academy of arts. He came to Cornwall in 1990 and stayed with the Newlyn artist Ken Symonds and painted around Cornwall for a month before returning to Bulgaria. He never visited England again due to poor health. Whilst in Cornwall Valko was given a one night showing at Leon Suddaby Fine Art gallery in Penzance who managed to sell 10 paintings which netted him the sum of over £8000. This money enabled him to return to Bulgaria and pay for his house and a car which he could never have afforded before. This is one of the paintings shown that evening and given to the gallery owner.
